Saturday, August 19th  4:00 pm to Sundown - Richard's Grove & Saralee's Vineyard

Post Harvest Sale - "Hog in the Fog"

Enjoy an experience like no other - the Russian River Valley Winegrower's annual "Hog in the Fog" Backyard Barbecue at the beautiful Richard's Grove & Saralee's Vineyard. Nestled among the grapevines and grove of grand oak trees awaits an experience in the Russian River Valley that should not be missed. Enjoy the beauty of your surroundings as you sample the spectacular selection of wines from over 50 Russian River Valley wineries along with appetizers made from the area's local array of food products.

Our Sommeliers for the evening are none other than our family of winegrowers and vintners of the Russian River Valley who roll up their sleeves and stroll around the dinner tables serving their stellar Russian River Valley wines. Delight in the bounty that our appellation has to offer, including seasonal produce, an assortment of succulent barbecued local meats (including, of course, plenty of pulled pork), and, to complete your evening meal... warm apple pie ala mode made from locally grown Gravenstein apples.

As you enjoy the local flavor of the area, take the opportunity to mill around the tables of silent auction items where you can bid on hard- to- find bottles of wine, tours and other unique one- of- a- kind items from the Russian River Valley. At 7:00 p.m. the live "wine" auction begins, where you will have the chance to bid on rare library wines and enchanting experiences to keep you enjoying the Russian River Valley even after your weekend is over.

Sunday, August 20th 12:00 noon - Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards

11th Annual Grape to Glass "Wings and Wine Country Lunch on the Green"

2001 The CutrerJoin restaurateur, TV cooking personality and Sonoma County resident Chef Guy Fieri to revel in Wings and Wines, our final event of Grape to Glass overlooking the lush croquet green of Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards. Guy will give a brief, humourous recap of his recent adventures as a finalist and winner on the FoodNetwork's "The Next FoodNetwork Star." He's also going to show you how to "Play with Your Chardonnay" as he leads you through some fun and unusual food and wine pairings with Russian River Valley Chardonnay, fast becoming the next big wine sensation. You will continue to contrast and compare as you move on to an elegant lunch created by Michael Hirschberg of Highfeather Catering, accompanied by your choice of a vast array of world class Russian River Valley wines, reds and whites.

After lunch, try your hand at a croquet "hoop shoot" and be the winner of a Russian River eonological "trophy". Lunch this year has also been timed to take advantage of the Wings Over Wine Country , a nationally known air show that is staged out of the Pacific Coast Air Museum just blocks away from Sonoma-Cutrer. After lunch, relax and enjoy the air show or stroll on the terrace, all the while drinking in the magnificent view of the vine- covered hills of the Russian River Valley on a sparkling summer afternoon.

Saturday & Sunday, August 19th & 20th Sonoma County Airport - adjacent to Ocean View Farms

"Wings and Wine Country Air Show"

Antiques, war-birds, and contemporary aircraft will perform flybys and also park on the ramp for an up-close and personal look. One of the exciting features of the PCAM Air Show is the opportunity to touch and feel the awesome power and might of these historic machines which have meant so much to our history. Military flybys inspire you with their precision and power: some will be on static display when not in the air. Visitors will have an opportunity to climb aboard a jet fighter or walk through an open cargo/transport plane.

An added feature this year is an expanded display of military and antique vehicles, all open for up close inspection and viewing. Vendors will display models, T-shirts, books, and crafts which are available for inspection and purchase.

The gates open at 9:30 a.m. for pre-show activities including radio controlled model aircraft demonstrations. The main Air Show events kick off at 10:00 a.m. with a skydiving performance by Skydive Santa Rosa.

P-51's, a B-25, F7F, F8F, Sea Fury's, C-130, Provost, Strikemaster, MiG 15, F6F, P-40, and Yak's are just samples of what you can see at the Air Show. As we work hard to make each Air Show the best ever, events and performers appeal to kids and adults of all ages. The “Sound of Freedom” demonstrates the power, the sound, and the glory of flight that makes all of us proud.

Several other aircraft will be open. Visitors are always encouraged to walk through PCAM's UH-1 Huey, HU-16 Albatross, and rare Russian IL-14 Transport. Imagine yourself a Top Gun pilot while sitting in the cockpit of an F-16N Viper or an F-14 Tomcat
